Oasis announce Oasis Live ’27 with huge Knebworth return

Oasis have announced Oasis Live ’27, their first tour since the 2025 reunion, and it is easily one of the biggest music stories of the week. The run starts at Celtic Park in Glasgow on May 21, 2027, then stretches across the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and the US.

The headline moment is a return to Knebworth on September 11, 12, 18 and 19, 2027, exactly 30 years after the band’s era-defining 1996 shows there. Other major stops include Etihad Stadium Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Stade de France in Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas and Slane Castle.

Tickets are being handled through a registration-only ballot system. Registration closed on September 17, selected fans will receive a unique code, and the onsale window runs from September 25 to 27. UK ticket prices range from £71.50 to £266.60.

Electric Avenue 2027 lineup lands with Calvin Harris and Kings of Leon

New Zealand’s Electric Avenue has revealed its 2027 lineup for Hagley Park, Christchurch, taking place on February 26 and 27, 2027. Calvin Harris and Kings of Leon lead the bill, giving the festival a strong mix of huge dance and rock appeal.

The lineup also includes Kasabian, Major Lazer, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, Kehlani, Jungle, Underworld, Lime Cordiale and Gorgon City, so it already looks stacked with crossover appeal for fans who want big singalongs, indie favourites and club-ready names in one weekend.

Shakira opens giant 12-night Madrid residency tonight

Shakira opens her 12-night Madrid residency tonight, September 18, at Macondo Park in Villaverde, with the run continuing through October 11. It is one of the most ambitious live music setups of the week.

The custom-built site covers 220,000 square metres and includes an amphitheatre with capacity for 26,318 of the expected 55,000 daily crowd, along with music, food, fashion and literature pavilions. Beck has released his new album, Ride Lonesome, today, September 18. The record arrives via Capitol Records and is his first full-length album in seven years.

The album continues Beck’s more reflective and stripped-back side, with a chamber folk and Americana feel running through its songs. It follows the emotional world of Sea Change and Morning Phase, making it an easy pick for fans who prefer Beck at his most thoughtful and atmospheric.

Carly Rae Jepsen drops 24-track double album Day and Night

Carly Rae Jepsen has released Day and Night, an ambitious double album split into two 12-track sections. The “Day” and “Night” halves give the project a bigger scale than a standard pop release, while keeping Jepsen’s focus on sharp hooks, romance and polished dance-pop.

The album is out now through Schoolboy and Interscope Records. It is available across streaming platforms, digital stores, CD and vinyl, giving fans plenty of ways to add it to their collection.

Limp Bizkit will provide direct support, with Avatar opening every show. The tour will once again use Metallica’s in-the-round stadium production, placing the stage in the centre of each venue.

Anthrax hit the road behind Cursum Perficio

Anthrax are on the road behind their new album, Cursum Perficio. The record is their first full-length in a decade and arrives during a packed touring year across Europe, North America and Mexico.

Kingdom of Giants announce Usurper

Kingdom of Giants have announced their new album, Usurper, for November 13 through SharpTone Records. Alongside the announcement, the band premiered a video for new single “Reign”.

The track points towards another heavy and modern metalcore release, while the band have also confirmed a North American headlining tour beginning on November 14, just one day after the album arrives.

Grave Digger set Faces of Pain for January

German heavy metal veterans Grave Digger will release Faces of Pain on January 15, 2027, through Reaper Entertainment.

The album will arrive alongside the Legends Never Die Tour ’27. The European run includes support from Motorjesus and Warwolf, with dates scheduled across Germany and neighbouring countries.

Manntra announce Christmas Day album Wild Hunt

Croatian metal band Manntra have announced Wild Hunt, a new album due on December 25 through Napalm Records.

Trivium have released “Dead Inside of Me”, their first new music since 2021’s In the Court Of The Dragon. The song launches the next era for the band, with details of their upcoming 11th album still to be announced.

The track takes inspiration from the Japanese concepts of honne and tatemae, exploring the difference between private feelings and the face we show to the outside world. It arrives with a video directed by Pavel Trebukhin.

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album brings music and gaming together

Atlantic Records and Rockstar Games have announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, due on November 19 alongside the game.

The 34-track project brings together artists from across pop, hip-hop, Latin music, country and rock. Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Morgan Wallen and Keith Richards are among the names attached to the project.
