Weekly International Movie & TV Show News Roundup

Friday, 23 October 2026

Welcome to this week’s international movie and TV news roundup. Street Fighter led the box office last weekend, while Clayface and You Can See Everything are now going head to head for the top spot. There are also new cinema releases, fresh trailers, streaming premieres, casting updates and stories from India, South Korea and Japan.

Box office

Street Fighter won last weekend with a $31 million domestic debut and $51 million worldwide. You Can See Everything, A24’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary, finished in second place. Its opening was the second-biggest ever for a documentary, behind Fahrenheit 9/11, released in 2004.

This weekend’s fight for number one is between Clayface and You Can See Everything. The R-rated DC body-horror film, directed by James Watkins, brought in more than $3.5 million in Thursday previews. It is projected to make $20–25 million, against a budget of around $40 million. Clayface is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

The cast includes Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen, alongside Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan. You can read more about the weekend box-office contest in Deadline’s coverage of Clayface and You Can See Everything.
